11/2008 – Tae Kim joins ADI Strategies to lead Financial Consolidations Practice

ADI Strategies, Inc. announces the appointment of a key member to the management team. Tae Kim joins ADI Strategies as Vice President of the Financial Consolidations practice.

Prior to joining ADI, Mr. Kim was Consulting Practice Director for the Financial Consolidations and Reporting practice at Hackett Technology Solutions. He has a consistent and successful track record working with clients to implement and customize mission critical financial software applications. The breadth of his experience includes financial reporting, consolidations, accounting, budgeting, and project management.

Mr. Kim holds undergraduate degrees in Finance and Accounting and a Masters degree in Accounting.

09/2008 – ADI adds industry insider, Matt Hart, to the team as Business Development Manager

Matthew J. Hart comes to ADI after nearly 3 years in successive sales roles within Hyperion and Oracle. Most recently Matt worked in the capacity of Oracle Direct, Northern California EPM Senior Account Manager. Matt is being tapped for his knowledge of the industry, and excellent ability to match customer need with proven solutions. Matt will initially focus on Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. “Joining ADI is a logical next step in my career. ADI has a reputation as a peerless Hyperion implementation partner and reseller. I am proud to be a part of that continuing and growing reputation.”

06/2008 – Harmonic, Inc. purchases ADI’s 1Maintenance SolutionSM to streamline in-house Hyperion support

Harmonic, Inc. leverages ADI’s 1Maintenance Solution for 24X7 support of its Hyperion applications. Harmonic faced a challenge common to many organizations: their installed base of Hyperion Applications did not warrant a full time in-house Hyperion Administrator. With the 1Maintenance Solution, Harmonic has access to seasoned Hyperion Administrators who can quickly respond to anything from routine structural changes to restoring the system.

05/2008 – ADI participates in Oracle Release 11.1.1 Hyperion EPM beta testing

ADI was invited to participate in Oracle’s beta testing program, and had the opportunity to provide feedback on the latest release of Enterprise Performance Management Architect (EPMA). ADI tested EPMA functionality including upgrading a classic Hyperion Planning application to an EPMA application, and many of the options available for administrators to quickly and accurately build and update metadata, including the use of shared and local dimensions, the EPMAFileGenerator, import enhancements, and the Grid Editor. ADI enjoyed the opportunity to interact closely with the developers, and to provide feedback beneficial to future EPMA users.

03/2008 – Jenny Craig trims planning & forecasting process with purchase of Hyperion Planning

Prior to implementing Hyperion Planning Jenny Craig relied on a series of off-line Excel Spreadsheet templates to complete their planning and forecasting cycles. The new solution will leverage Hyperion Planning’s currency conversion capabilities in addition to providing detailed plans and forecasts for HR, Departmental Expense and Capital. The solution centralizes the Planning Data and liberates users from having to keep myriad Excel workbooks in synch. Most importantly, the data centralization implicitly preserves the integrity of the data.

01/2008 – ADI hires seasoned sales executive, Charlie Nickel, as Director of Business Development

Charlie Nickel joins ADI with more than 20 years experience in sales leadership. Prior to joining ADI, Mr. Nickel was at the helm of 2 companies he founded in succession; Auxilio, Inc. from 2004-2006, where as founder and Chief Strategy Officer he shaped the company’s success and led a team of qualified sales people in growing this Medical Document Management company. From 2002 to 2004, Charlie was responsible for generating all revenue as the founder of The Mayo Group (TMG); he also acted in a dual role as VP of Sales in helping to recruit, hire, train and manage all sales personnel.
